In college I worked at an up-scale men's clothing store and learned about fabrics, suit construction -- why some cost more than others (Hicky-Freeman, for example). One thing that amazes me and astonished my wife before we met was how under educated many salesmen are who sell clothes, and how much I knew -- even about women's clothes, color and such.

When we come to England next summer, I hope to stop buy.
