" i want to be an apprentice"

"Boy, make me the doublet, and patch the pantaloons, or else I will rap the yard-measure over your ears."

Hello! So lovely to chance upon your blog! I'd never imagine a Savile Row tailor to be blogging. No offense, just that you generally associate Savile Row with an old-world English charm, and this is so new world. Sorry I'm gushing, but it's been lovely reading your posts. I was wondering if I might ask you for advice on getting myself a couple of suits tailored. Back home in India, most of my tailors can't even tailor a Western shirt to my preferences but are masters at Indian cuts! Ah well... if only I was on London right now!
