English Cut Bespoke Tailoring

Anglo American…

After two successful weeks in the USA, visiting the cities of San Francisco, New York and Boston, we are finally back in the workshop here in England.

Our regular trips to America are more than a flight of fancy. Historically, Savile Row firms have always dressed famous and influential American men.  The most notable period was the 1930′s & 40′s, where many Hollywood film stars had to have the quality and panache of Savile Row tailoring. Charlie Chaplin, Cary Grant, Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra, for example, were regular clients on the Row.

The ‘London Cut’ has remained strong for generations, and continues to find new connoisseurs not just across the pond, but much further a field.

Mr Mahon is now re-cutting the fittings tried on in the USA, ready for the next phase of production. If you would like to know more about this part of the process, do view our video on the subject: English Cut, Re-Cutting

Kind regards,

Tom Ritson
